Senior Lecturer, Division of Economics, Stirling Management School, University of Stirling, UK
I am an applied economist interested in health and wellbeing, and how these are influenced by economic conditions, public policies and the quality and use of the environment. I recently began working on education, financial behaviour and financial literacy. You can find more information about my current research projects by clicking on the research and grants tabs.
In Sept 2017, we will be launching a new exciting Master MSc in Economics for Business and Policy. The course is aimed at students from a variety of backgrounds, including those with no previous training in economics, who want to gain necessary skills to analyse public policies and business practices. The course offers excellent links with industry and policy think tanks built on our strong engagement with different organisations (e.g., Natural Power, Wood Mackenzie, Scottish Power, Scottish Environmental Protection Agency, Zero Waste Scotland, the Centre for Constitutional Change, the Institute for Fiscal Studies). Please check the website and drop me a line if you want to know more about this programme.
