My research sits at the intersection of behavioural and environmental economics and quantitative policy evaluation. I study how environmental conditions and public policies affect well-being, behaviour, energy use and attitudes, and how behavioural responses influence policy effectiveness.

I combine survey and administrative records with other secondary data, using microeconometric and quasi-experimental methods to estimate causal effects.

I also design monitoring and evaluation frameworks for place-based policies and advise public organisations and local authorities on quantitative impact evaluation.
